Which is best stainless steel cookware set?
There are many stainless steel cookware brands to chose from but which is best for you and your family. Every quality stainless steel cookware brand offers different features and varying price points depending on what you're looking for. You won't get the best at the cheapest price. Steer clear of cheap cookware as it probably won't last. Read the labels - some cookware is described having "steel effect" on the markets - it's actually polished aluminium. Look for cookware with a good, thick solid base, otherwise it will warp with the heat. Make sure that handles screw into the main body so that you can tighten them if they work loose. Handles attached by rivets are almost impossible to repair if they work loose. Even supermarkets have a good range of cookware and they're reasonable priced. If you see a set that looks like a good offer, think very carefully - do you need everything that it has? Would you be better buying individual items and only getting things that you need?

Here are some points to consider before you buy:
* Consider more than the good look of Stainless steel pans. The cookware needs to have even heat distribution. This can be accomplished with the conbination of two other metals with the stainless steel. That would be aluminium and copper core. These metals cook the food evenly and responds well to rapidly changing temperature for even heat distribution.
* Good quality stainless steel should have a layer or two of the aluminium and copper at the base of the pot. It is even better if it goes up the side of the pot.
* Look for the number 18/10 associated with the stainless steel. These numbers refer to the percentage of other metals in the stainless steel. These metals ensure the durability and strength of the stainless steel.
